Yesterday was the beginning of Construction Safety Week 2021. The focus for Day one is ‘Drive Safe this Bank Holiday’. Our site teams delivered a briefing on Friday across all projects to promote safe driving on our roads this bank holiday.
Throughout the rest of this week, we will have daily presentations focusing on the relevant themes as laid out by the CIF. This will include a presentation & demonstration by PPE experts Advanced Safety on the hazards of noise and dust in the workplace as part of tomorrows ‘mind your health’ theme.
We will also welcome Ashfield Products Ltd t/a Ash Safety (work at height and confined space specialists) to deliver a fall from height demonstration using their life sized 75KG dummy as part of Wednesday’s ‘Work safe at Height’ theme. The demonstration will focus on passive and active fall arrest systems and the importance of the correct use of harnesses. #safety #construction
