Working at height is the critical risk and a leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry. Today we welcomed Cathal Irwin from Advanced Safety to discuss the safe use of harnesses when working at height. Cathal also focussed on PPE as the last line of defence and the importance of selecting the correct PPE for each task. Cathal discussed the different ratings on gloves with attendees and invited them to cut through gloves of every rating to demonstrate the cut level resistance of each.
