Kilcawley Construction have been awarded the contract to carry out major refurbishment work to the Apparition Chapel and Parish Church at Knock Shrine. Works include re-roofing the parish church with natural slate, the replacement of external curtain walling and windows, new lime render to the church façade, stone repointing, the refurbishment of the church tower, major electrical and mechanical upgrade works, new specialist finishes to the interior of both buildings, conservation and restoration works, extensive site electrical services to provide new audio visual amenities. Works will commence immediately on the €4m project with works scheduled for completion by March 2018.
