Demolition and alteration works are nearing completion. Works are underway to bring the existing stained glass windows back to their former glory – our stained glass specialists will be carefully renovating original Harry Clarke windows – one of the main features of the St. John the Baptist Church. The existing external render has been removed from the building, to expose the existing stonework – the stonework will be rendered with lime mortar. Works are underway to the façade of the Bell Tower, consisting of new stone work and lime mortar repointing to the existing stone.
