St. Mary’s Secondary School Update
The first sample room has been completed on our St. Mary’s Secondary School project in Ballina, Co. Mayo.
Leveraging an extensive local supply chain the new 650 pupil school is scheduled for completion this summer ready to receive students for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The school is an exemplar project being the first school in the country constructed to Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB) standards. This includes the incorporation of solar photo voltaic panels, higher efficiency mechanical plant/equipment as well as improved thermal energy efficiency requirements for the envelope among other requirements to provide significantly improved building sustainability and end user benefits.
